The Lead Reliability Engineer for Water Chemistry serves as the supreme technical authority for closed and open-loop water treatment, metallurgy, and corrosion prevention across Aligned's data center fleet. This role acts as a strategic bridge between site operations and platform delivery, utilizing advanced chemical forensics to prevent infrastructure degradation and dictate vendor protocols. The position involves translating empirical water quality data into engineering mandates to eliminate enterprise service level agreement risks.

Responsibilities

Lead deep-dive chemical and metallurgical forensics during critical fleet incidents
Provide rigorous oversight and governance of third-party water treatment vendors
Analyze water quality data to identify systemic risks to equipment lifecycle
Conduct fleet-wide technical audits to ensure compliance with water chemistry parameters
Evaluate and recommend new solutions to improve water conservation and treatment effectiveness
