About this role

Labcorp is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and build scalable microservices and RESTful web services on AWS that support Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) workflows. This role involves developing clean, well-tested code using Java and Spring Boot while participating in Agile teams and improving CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to advance diagnostic testing and drug development solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain RESTful web services and single-page applications
Develop scalable microservices on AWS supporting LIMS workflows
Write clean, well-tested code following Test Driven Development practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
Improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes
