This role involves managing the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) cryptoasset regulatory application process and leading the post-authorization implementation of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) license. The position requires developing and maintaining regulatory policies, designing regulatory frameworks for the Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR) and Travel Rule, and establishing blockchain analytics control frameworks. The ideal candidate will conduct regulatory assessments, perform gap analyses, and independently draft substantive regulatory submissions while monitoring legislative developments.
