Level I Automation Engineer

This position is an automation technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, improving, and maintaining the level 1 automation system in the Melt Shop area of the Big River Steel facility. The role involves coordinating with contractors and vendors to install or modify electrical equipment, working with maintenance and operations personnel to support a safety-focused team, and training others on level 1 systems. Additionally, the position manages the design, development, and procurement of hardware and software for improvement projects.
