Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA)

The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant provides in‑home physical therapy services to patients based on physician orders and a plan of care developed by a Registered Physical Therapist. Working under PT supervision, the LPTA delivers skilled procedures, educates patients and families, and documents care while adhering to agency policies and participating in quality improvement activities.
