The Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a subject matter expert in general health-related areas within the educational school setting, providing care to students with health needs and assisting with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The role involves on-site management of routine and emergency health concerns across multiple health offices, daily distribution of student medications, and maintenance of student health records. The position requires ongoing communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator, as well as the ability to collect and report data as directed.
