Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applies the nursing process to support clients, residents, and patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach across various settings including Acute, Transitional, Personal Care Homes, Primary Care, Public Health, and Home Care. The role requires working to the full scope of practice, engaging in ongoing education, and maintaining competency consistent with organizational policies and professional standards. The incumbent exercises independent judgment to determine work priorities and methods while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to foster quality services and staff empowerment.
