About this role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contributes to whole person healthcare by providing evidence-based nursing skills to care for patients in both the Withdrawal Management and Intensive units. This role involves administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care. The position also includes supervising residential technicians and providing medical re-education to patients as needed.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
Record medical information and vital signs while maintaining accurate reports
Facilitate crisis intervention and assist RN in coordinating patient care plans

Skills

Qualifications

Current Connecticut LPN licenseBasic Life Support (BLS)/ CPR certification
