The Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) at the ASPCA Adoption Center provides high-quality nursing care and medical support to at-risk and sheltered animals, working within shelter medicine protocols to help animals move safely into adoptive homes. The role partners closely with veterinarians and other care staff to deliver examinations, treatments, diagnostic testing, and population-level medical care in a fast-paced shelter environment. The position is based at the Adoption Center and supports approximately 3,000 at-risk pets annually.
