Lifeguard

The Lifeguard position creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while promoting and maintaining a safe swimming environment in the pool, deck and surrounding areas in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. The role involves actively maintaining current certifications, ensuring participant safety, monitoring water quality, and adhering to all established safety practices and personnel policies. Employees are also responsible for documenting incidents, participating in training, and fulfilling mandated reporter duties for child abuse and neglect.
