Lifeguard

The Lifeguard position is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas while creating a positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. This role involves continuous monitoring of the aquatic environment, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies in accordance with YMCA policies. The position requires strong physical capabilities, including swimming and rescue skills, as well as effective communication and decision-making abilities.
