Lifeguard

The Lifeguard position is responsible for protecting the safety of patrons in and around the pool area by preventing potential accidents through rule enforcement, maintaining a clean uncluttered pool area, and maintaining a chemically balanced pool. This role supports the Y's mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The position requires active surveillance of the pool area, knowledge of emergency procedures, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with members and staff.
