About this role

This is a lineworker internship supporting the Distribution System Supervisor to learn and assist with installation, maintenance, inspection, and removal of overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities. The role provides hands-on training in power line work, including climbing poles and ladders, operating and maintaining tools and equipment, and working on de-energized and grounded systems under supervision. It is a co-op/intern position with emphasis on safety, field experience, and progression based on demonstrated skill.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Enrolled in Power Line Certificate or Associate Degree Program (with ≥16 week internship)
CAST Selection Test (completed)
Valid State Driver's License
CDL Permit
Eligible For CDL-A
