About this role

This role involves serving as a Linux infrastructure engineer to support the design, deployment, automation, and security of enterprise-class compute and virtualization platforms in secure, air-gapped environments. Key duties include managing enterprise Linux distributions, KVM virtualization, Infrastructure-as-Code automation, and private cloud infrastructure while ensuring operational stability and compliance within highly regulated sectors.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure environments using RHEL and Rocky Linux
Engineer and support physical and virtualized infrastructure platforms via KVM
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions utilizing Ansible
Administer enterprise storage, backup, and distributed storage technologies like GlusterFS
Implement STIG hardening, SELinux policies, and enterprise security compliance practices
