Literary Manager

The Literary Manager serves as a key member of the artistic team at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, working directly with the Artistic Director to commission, develop, and provide dramaturgical support for new and existing works. This role involves overseeing script submissions, networking with playwrights and creative artists, and collaborating cross-departmentally to support the theater's artistic vision and season planning. The position requires managing the new play development process, from initial readings and workshops to final production support.
