Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming
Glynwood's Livestock Apprenticeship program offers beginning farmers an intensive vocational training opportunity to gain hands-on experience and technical skills in managing a small-scale, diversified livestock operation. The 9-month program focuses on regenerative, pasture-based production of beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, combining full-time field work with a structured classroom curriculum and educational support. Apprentices work as integral team members in daily livestock care while participating in supplemental classroom education through the Hudson Valley Apprenticeship program.
Glynwood cultivates just and resilient food systems so that farmers, land, and communities thrive.
