About this role

ProPublica’s Local Reporting Network funds one-year partnerships with local and regional newsrooms to support full-time reporters working on investigative projects. The program will select 15 partnerships across three cohorts in 2026 and provides editorial support, collaboration with ProPublica staff, and simultaneous publication by the local newsroom and ProPublica. Selected newsrooms receive a grant to cover the reporter’s salary and benefits, and fellows remain based in their home newsrooms while working with ProPublica editors.
