Localization Software Engineer

This role involves owning the software architecture and implementation for lunar rover localization, developing algorithms to estimate position from various sensors in GPS-denied environments. The engineer will test systems on hardware and simulations, define performance metrics, and integrate localization outputs with path planning and hazard avoidance. The position requires deep expertise in estimation and mapping algorithms applied to real-world robotics.
