The Mosaic Company is seeking a Locomotive Electrician to perform electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on EMD-style locomotives and related peripheral equipment. This role involves disassembling and reassembling electrical components, executing wheel and traction motor change-outs, and servicing remote control wiring. Candidates must be capable of reading schematics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and driving a company vehicle within a regional radius to complete job duties.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical repairs on Mosaic locomotives and peripheral equipment
Execute preventative maintenance on EMD-style locomotive systems
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble whole or partial electrical components
Conduct wheel and traction motor change-outs successfully
Service Locomotive Remote Controls and wiring systems
