A Financial Accountant is responsible for conducting financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting. They perform timely payroll and salary calculations according to legal, tariff, and company regulations. They prepare monthly financial accounting closures and assist with annual financial statements according to HGB. They handle social insurance contributions and taxes, and provide contribution certificates and income tax registrations. They also check and reconcile accounts, monitor open items, manage employee master data and timekeeping, and support with payroll and social insurance-related questions.
