Long Cane Forest Recovery Lead Technician

The Forest Recovery Lead Technician supports the implementation of a five-year Hurricane Helene recovery and forest restoration agreement between The Nature Conservancy and the U.S. Forest Service on the Sumter National Forest. The role provides day-to-day field leadership for forest restoration, hazardous fuels reduction, prescribed fire, and post-storm recovery activities. The position involves organizing field assignments, coordinating personnel and equipment, and maintaining safe and efficient operations across the Long Cane Ranger District.
