About this role

The LST Paramedic provides immediate medical treatment and assessment to patients with critical injuries and illnesses in various settings, including on-site, in the community, and during transport. This role requires fast thinking and processing to navigate emergency calls, maintain ambulance equipment, and administer life support procedures according to EMS protocols. The position involves a 24-hours-on, 48-hours-off schedule with shifts between 7:00am and 7:00am, 3:00pm and 7:00am, or 3:00pm and 3:00pm.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate medical assessment and treatment to injured or ill patients
Navigate ambulance to accident scene in response to emergency calls
Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and clean ambulances as necessary

Completion of an accredited EMS-Paramedic Training ProgramCurrent licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) in OhioBasic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare ProviderAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications
