Machine Learning Engineer

The Machine Learning Engineer II on the Rider ML team at Uber designs, deploys, and optimizes production ranking, candidate retrieval, and recommendation systems for millions of riders globally. This role involves solving complex personalization, real-time inference latency, and large-scale streaming data challenges using state-of-the-art ML modeling architectures. The engineer will build foundational ML infrastructure, automated model retraining pipelines, and near-real-time streaming feature pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn high-throughput data streams into predictive models.
