About this role

The Lead AI Platform Engineer at Salesforce will build, maintain, and scale core infrastructure, platform services, and CI/CD pipelines for the company's ML/AI initiatives. This role requires expertise in using AI-native tools like Claude Code and autonomous agents to accelerate engineering workflows while designing secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. Candidates must demonstrate strong capabilities in full-stack development, MLOps, and creating internal developer tools that empower ML engineers and data scientists.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy autonomous agents to accelerate developer workflows and self-heal CI pipelines
Build and maintain core ML platform components including model registries and deployment tooling
Implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker
Create and maintain internal AI tool marketplaces connecting agents to platform APIs
Establish monitoring solutions and integrate security scanning to ensure platform reliability

Skills

Qualifications

9+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, or ML Infrastructure EngineerDemonstrated AI-native engineering practice using tools like Claude CodeExperience building internal tool marketplaces and autonomous agentsExpertise in AWS services including IAM, EKS, S3, and Lambda
