About this role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Machinist (Level 2 or 3) in Promontory, UT to perform in-process and final part inspections, maintain equipment, and train operators on CNC machinery. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, GD&T, and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis machines within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to work a swing shift schedule and obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final part inspections for quality assurance
Maintain CNC equipment and ensure tooling readiness
Train operators on CNC setup, operations, and maintenance
Interpret blueprints and production specifications accurately
Resolve unique machining issues and perform complex measurements
