Machinist A

The Machinist A is a highly skilled CNC machining professional responsible for programming, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing CNC lathes, mills, and related machining equipment used to manufacture precision components. This position serves as the department's technical expert for machining processes and is responsible for developing machining strategies, programming new parts, performing complex setups, proving out new jobs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Machinist A works independently with minimal supervision and provides technical leadership, mentorship, and support to Machinist B and Machinist C team members.
