A Walsmachinist (roller operator) works in an asphalt crew operating tandem or three‑wheel rollers to compact and finish asphalt surfaces. The role is field‑based, part of a fixed team that works day and night shifts, and offers on‑the‑job training and progression into other asphalt roles. The position is open to candidates with or without prior experience and includes support through training and a personal buddy.
