Machinist

The Machinist uses various tools for machining tasks on lathes, lapping, milling, or boring equipment, preparing and completing work using knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and metal properties. The role involves performing maintenance on tools and equipment, as well as drawing, designing, and fabricating pieces to build or repair components. The position requires proficiency in operating standard honing, boring, milling, flame metal spray, surface grinding, and line boring equipment. The Machinist is responsible for reading and interpreting prints and drawings for fabrication projects while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
