The role focuses on keeping processing equipment safe, reliable, and available through effective reactive maintenance during a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, supported by planned preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities. The position involves maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing Small Domestic Appliance (SDA) and SDA pre-pick processing equipment, including conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The engineer will also complete planned preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and ensure all work adheres to site safety procedures.
