Maintenance / Janitor - Longfellow Corner

The Maintenance / Janitor performs a wide variety of maintenance and janitorial duties, including preventative, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance, as well as regular inspections. The role emphasizes safe work practices, troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, customer service, and time management. The position involves conducting safety hazard and maintenance deficiency inspections, performing repairs in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, masonry, plastering, and painting, and ensuring timely apartment unit turn-overs. The Maintenance / Janitor also creates and implements preventive maintenance schedules and participates in off-shift and weekend emergency maintenance coverage as scheduled.
