About this role

Slate is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of General Assembly, including robot systems, conveyance, breakdown management, and Root Cause Analysis. This role sets the standard for safety, efficiency, and reliability across equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The Maintenance Manager will lead a skilled maintenance team to support production uptime and equipment reliability while partnering with production and engineering leadership to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop a skilled maintenance technician team
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and robotic systems
Partner with production to minimize downtime through root cause analysis
Manage spare parts inventory and oversee capital improvement projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred)10+ years of industrial maintenance4+ years in a supervisory or lead roleSix Sigma Certification (preferred)Forklift Certification (preferred)
