Maintenance Mechanic I

This position performs routine skilled maintenance work and assists in repairing buildings, machines, vehicles, and various equipment at water/wastewater treatment plants or pumping stations. The role involves monitoring and performing preventive maintenance, handling general grounds and janitorial duties, and assisting with carpentry, plumbing, and welding tasks. Employees are responsible for maintaining process records, utilizing computer applications, and adhering to all safety guidelines while potentially responding to emergency situations.
