Maintenance Mechanic I

This position performs routine skilled maintenance work and assists in repairing buildings, machines, vehicles, and various equipment at water/wastewater treatment plants or pumping stations. The role involves monitoring and performing preventive maintenance, handling general grounds and janitorial duties, and utilizing technical manuals to repair equipment under direct supervision. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining process records, adhering to safety guidelines, and responding to emergency situations as directed.
