The Maintenance Technician 2 role is responsible for leading and performing advanced maintenance and custodial operations to ensure the cleanliness, safety, functionality, and overall upkeep of all facilities at Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley National Park. This position provides hands-on technical expertise and support to maintenance operations while assisting with oversight, coordination, and mentorship of maintenance and custodial staff. The role ensures sanitation and safety standards are met, responds to maintenance needs and emergencies, and actively cultivates a safe, friendly, and engaging work environment where guest service, outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship are embraced.
