Managed Care Coordinator

Under the direction of the Sr. Managed Care Coordinator and Practice Manager, this role initiates and processes managed care insurance referral requests for patients while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care, timeliness, quality, and accuracy. The position requires adhering to the organization's Revenue Cycle Referral Management policy and meeting standard turnaround time goals. It involves collaborating with physicians, patients, and support staff to coordinate specialty care referrals across multiple managed care insurance payers.
