About this role

The Manager, Accounting at RTX leads key accounting operations, drives process improvements, and ensures the integrity of financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. This role partners with business units to support monthly closes, consolidations, and audit activities while acting as a senior advisor on complex accounting matters and non-routine transactions.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement projects related to accounting processes and compliance
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidations and financial reporting
Act as senior advisor on non-routine reporting transactions and journal entries
Evaluate accounting policies including cost, general, and statutory accounting
Interact with external auditors on technical accounting topics and annual audits
