About this role

The Manager of Cloud Operations (VMware) serves as the technical owner and subject matter expert for enterprise virtualization and private cloud platform services across AIA business units. The role drives operational excellence, automation, lifecycle management, and operational governance across the enterprise, with no direct people-management responsibility. It provides hands-on technical leadership across VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server, vSAN, NSX, Aria, HCX, disaster recovery, automation, and supporting infrastructure integrations.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on platform administration and advanced technical support across VMware platforms
Define and maintain platform roadmaps, reference architectures, and technical standards
Design and implement automation using PowerCLI, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible
