About this role

Deloitte is seeking a Manager of Cloud WAF & Security Automation Engineering to lead global strategy and operational execution for Web Application Firewall and cloud security automation platforms. This role requires driving engineering excellence, overseeing cloud-native WAF deployments, and managing Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives across a worldwide enterprise environment. The incumbent will partner with application and security teams to deliver scalable, automated protections for enterprise applications while fostering innovation and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering for WAF automation and security tooling across global deployments
Define and execute strategic roadmap for cloud-native security controls maturity
Oversee deployment and management of cloud-native WAF technologies in multi-cloud environments
Lead automation projects involving Terraform modules, CI/CD integrations, and operational workflows
Mentor engineers and technical leads to foster a culture of innovation and accountability
