About this role

The Manager, Corporate Quality Engineering supports the implementation and continuous improvement of quality engineering processes across designated Amcor Rigid Packaging Beverage manufacturing facilities. This role provides technical guidance in process control, validation, problem-solving, and risk assessment while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance process capability and reduce variation. The position leads assigned projects and escalates significant customer, regulatory, and product safety risks to the Director of Quality Management.

Responsibilities

Lead quality engineering process implementation and continuous improvement across manufacturing facilities
Drive process control, validation, and risk assessment initiatives to reduce variation and defects
Mentor plant quality personnel and support cross-functional problem-solving and corrective actions

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical disciplineCertified Quality Engineer (CQE)Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltCertified Quality Auditor (CQA)
