About this role

Takeda seeks a Manager to lead the Forecasting capability within the Commercial Analytics & Insights organization at its Bengaluru Innovation Capability Center. The role involves hands-on forecasting expertise combined with team management, stakeholder partnership, and operational accountability for forecasting workstreams supporting brand planning and launch readiness across Ex-US markets. The Manager will oversee forecast delivery quality, manage a small team of analysts, and drive process improvements using AI and modern data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end delivery of short-term and long-term demand forecasts
Directly manage a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts across forecasting sub-capabilities
Define forecasting approaches by translating stakeholder asks into scoped workplans
Review forecast models and assumptions for analytical rigor and stakeholder readiness
Lead automation initiatives applying AI and GenAI tools to accelerate forecasting workflows
