About this role

The Manager of Manufacturing Logistics – 3PL Operations serves as the operational anchor for Lilly's external logistics infrastructure in North Carolina. This role manages the partnership with DHL at the Salisbury shared warehouse while acting as the primary logistics partner for the Concord and RTP manufacturing sites. The position is responsible for coordinating complex outbound shipments, ensuring cGMP compliance, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations at the Salisbury shared warehouse in partnership with DHL
Coordinate outbound shipment planning and storage capacity for multiple manufacturing facilities
Drive accountability through structured KPI review and countermeasure cycles
Ensure full compliance with cGMP standards and regulatory documentation requirements
Manage onboarding and offboarding lifecycles for 3PL personnel and external partners
