Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager Material Requirements Planning 1 to lead daily MRP activities and support production in the Buffalo, NY office. This role involves directing a team of planners and manufacturing expeditors to resolve material conflicts, authorize requisitions, and initiate production orders while safeguarding cost and schedule. The incumbent must be present on the manufacturing floor daily to support real-time production activities and coordinate cross-functional efforts.

Responsibilities

Direct daily MRP activities supporting assembly demand and component replenishment
Lead and coach a team of planners and manufacturing expeditors
Resolve schedule and material conflicts while authorizing requisitions
Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance and manufacturing
Monitor work-in-progress status and material availability for production
