About this role

This role serves as a skilled individual contributor within the Early Phase Oncology organization, managing the full lifecycle of procurement-facing agreements for an assigned portfolio. The incumbent supports research teams by structuring contracts that comply with established frameworks while ensuring consistent and compliant outcomes across early phase biology, chemistry, and scientific technology areas. Key duties include negotiating third-party agreements, guiding internal business partners on compliance, and utilizing Lilly's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system accurately.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned portfolio of scientific contracting engagements to ensure compliance
Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts with third-party suppliers and internal partners
Provide contracting guidance while escalating complex compliance or legal issues
Maintain momentum across high-volume concurrent contract assignments
Ensure accurate procurement-to-pay processes including invoice reconciliation
