Inuit Circumpolar Council (ICC) is an Inuit-led non-governmental organization that represents Inuit from Alaska, Canada, Greenland and Chukotka as a united voice on international matters. ICC advocates for Inuit rights, cultures, traditional knowledge, food security and sustainable development while leading policy work on climate change, Arctic governance and environmental protection. The council engages with governments and multilateral bodies (including the Arctic Council and UN), produces research and policy submissions, and convenes international gatherings to advance Inuit self-determination and well‑being. It combines community-based knowledge with international advocacy to influence laws, programs and funding that affect Arctic peoples and ecosystems.
