About this role

The Technical Design Manager oversees Kontoor Brands' complete technical development, managing pattern-making and specifications from initial seasonal development through final sampling. This role ensures on-time delivery to production partners while maintaining quality standards, gross margin targets, and effective cross-functional collaboration. The manager also trains direct reports and establishes core fit libraries and technical construction manuals for the Wrangler, Lee, and Helly Hansen brands.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical development of patterns and specifications from onset to final sampling
Manage communication of product specifications to ensure quality standards are met
Establish new fit blocks and maintain the core fit library and technical manuals
Train and develop direct reports while conducting performance reviews
Resolve technical issues related to pattern construction and materials in pre-production
