Allegiant Air is an American low-cost scheduled and charter airline headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a subsidiary of Allegiant Travel Company. It operates a point-to-point network that primarily links small and mid-size U.S. communities with leisure destinations, often using secondary airports to keep fares low. The carrier uses a fleet of narrow‑body jets (primarily Airbus A320‑family aircraft) and generates additional revenue through ancillary fees and bundled vacation products like hotels and car rentals. Founded in 1997, Allegiant is publicly traded (NASDAQ: ALGT) and is known for a no‑frills, leisure‑focused business model.
