About this role

US Valve is seeking an Engineering Intern to support tooling design, production efficiency, and continuous improvement within valve assembly operations. This hands-on role involves working directly on the shop floor to redesign tools, audit fixtures, and conduct time studies to optimize cycle times. The intern will manage defined workstreams, document findings, and present results to the Engineering team and Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

Design and improve seal-tapping tools for increased durability
Audit production tooling and fixtures for wear and usage
Conduct time studies to establish baseline cycle times
Document standardized tooling requirements for valve assemblies
Present improvement recommendations to Engineering leadership
