Octopus Energy is a UK-based energy supplier focused on delivering cheaper, greener energy and billed as one of the country's most awarded providers. It sells household and business energy alongside products and services for heat pumps, rooftop solar, batteries and electric vehicle charging. Octopus runs a range of smart tariffs that reward shifting or reducing use when the grid is stressed and often advertises prices below the regulated price cap. The company also invests heavily in renewable generation and promotes a technology-driven, customer-focused approach to energy.
