GE Aerospace
The Manufacturing Engineering Development Program (MEDP) is a 2-year rotational program designed to develop technical expertise and leadership skills within GE Aerospace's supply chain. Participating engineers complete sequential 12-month assignments focusing on hands-on shop floor support, process improvement, and manufacturing planning. The role involves applying analytical tools and design software to optimize production processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
GE Aerospace designs, manufactures, and supports aircraft propulsion systems, integrated avionics, and aerospace components for commercial, military, business, and general aviation customers worldwide. Beyond core engines (including programs developed with partners such as CFM International), the company provides aftermarket services, maintenance and repair, digital monitoring and analytics, and lifecycle support. It also invests in advanced manufacturing, electrification, sustainable aviation fuels, and other technologies to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and modernize aerospace and defense operations.
