GE Aerospace
The Manufacturing Engineering Development Program (MEDP) is a 2-year development program focused on accelerating technical expertise across the Supply Chain through manufacturing engineering assignments. Engineers will gain experience via on-the-job training and classroom education, completing two 12-month assignments to build technical and leadership skills. The program fosters mentorship and structured learning with manufacturing experts to prepare participants for promotional opportunities within GE Aerospace.
GE Aerospace designs, manufactures, and supports aircraft propulsion systems, integrated avionics, and aerospace components for commercial, military, business, and general aviation customers worldwide. Beyond core engines (including programs developed with partners such as CFM International), the company provides aftermarket services, maintenance and repair, digital monitoring and analytics, and lifecycle support. It also invests in advanced manufacturing, electrification, sustainable aviation fuels, and other technologies to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and modernize aerospace and defense operations.
